When real wholesome foods taste and look THIS good, I think we all have no excuse not to eat healthy, or at least to incorporate some of these recipes into our diets :) And in 5-minutes or less, right here is the perfect place to start...
- 1/2 cup frozen berries
- 1/2 banana, chopped
- 1/2 apple, chopped
- 1/4 cup granola. I used Udi's Gluten Free Vanilla Granola
- Place fruit in a small pan over medium heat. Cover pan, and allow fruit to turn into a "compote" for 4 minutes. Stir once.
- Place fruit compote in a small bowl, top with granola, and serve. (You can also refrigerate for later; the flavors all really blend even more, and the granola gets mushy which I kinda like LOL)
Banana, apple, and berries heated over the stove become a beautiful juicy sweet fruit compote!
